[VSI, SETA] Large Language Models for Sustainable Energy Systems: Technologies and Assessments

The special issue "Large Language Models for Sustainable Energy Systems: Technologies and Assessments" explores the transformative potential of Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT and other AI technologies in addressing challenges in sustainable energy systems. This collection aims to highlight cutting-edge applications, methodologies, and case studies demonstrating how LLMs are being used to optimize energy operations, improve resilience, and foster sustainable energy practices. Topics include energy forecasting, predictive maintenance, renewable energy integration, and policy assessments. Contributions will showcase how LLMs can bridge the gap between AI advancements and sustainable energy technologies, paving the way for innovative solutions to global energy challenges. Guest editors: Dr. Alexis Pengfei Zhao, PhD Dr. Shuangqi Li, PhD Dr. Hanjun Kim, PhD Dr. Da Huo, PhD Dr. Ignacio Hernando-Gil, PhD Manuscript submission information: We sincerely welcome manuscripts containing novel, high quality, and unpublished research results. The invited submissions will be processed and reviewed in the same way as open submissions. Both review articles and original research articles are welcome. All submissions deemed suitable to be sent for peer review will be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. Manuscripts should be submitted via journal online submission system at: Editorial Manager by selecting the Article Type of " VSI: LLMs Sustainable Energy Systems". A detailed submission guideline is available as “Guide for Authors”. Once your manuscript is accepted, it will go into production and will be simultaneously published in the current regular issue and pulled into the online Special Issue. Articles from this Special Issue will appear in different regular issues of the journal, though they will be clearly marked and branded as Special Issue articles.
